This is the One
of biggest of the drums used in Sri Lanka. The special feature of this drum is
that it is played at a time by two or more people. They are using both hands during the playing instrument. This
drum is commonly used for New Year festivals ,Village weddings and there are
many special festivals. It is mostly played by women.it has special
own cultural rhythm poem during the playing ,it’s call Raban Pada,before play the dram one women use to
sing the Raban Padaya and other play the accordingly,
